My Journey has begin

Day 1 and 2
#BestBirthdayPresentEver
Yesterday on 4th August was my birthday and first flight ever to me. I felt so happy to be participant of this SEA-Teacher project. We arrived at Udon Thani Rajabhat University last night. I was going to UDRU together with Dea. Her major is English Education. We got same room at Dormitory. Ms. Kim and Adjan Pehwa treated us well. Everywhere in Udon looks like Pantura (Pantai Utara). Trust me, it’s true!. The differences between them are the language and foods. And UDRU is really big and has many trees and park. Even it has Hotel inside (OMG). Adjan Pehwa said that student can get lower cost per-night. I could find minimarket easily inside this Campus.

This morning, we had breakfast with Adjan Pehwa. She brought us to restaurant in front of Duck Balloon Lake. The Weather was not good so we have to bring our Umbrella. I ate rice noodles with chicken and it tasted like Soto Ayam in my country. I tried Thailand Chili powder but it was not really spicy. So I think that Thai food suites me well. There were a lot of people who sold fresh fruits and fresh juices. Then we went to around the city and Adjan Pehwa showed me Masjid and Freshmarket.

We arrived at the Dorm after strolling around the Campus. But we could not open the dorm door and tried many times to open it. Dea contacted Adjan Pehwa and said about our rooms condition. Then Ms. Kim came and brought us to the Dormitory office. We got some Helps there Alhamdulillah. The Head of Dormitory called mechaniker to fix our door and everything was being normal again. Fiuh!. Woman in Dormitory Office (We called her Mee Kho bei)  recommended us to try food in Restaurant which is only 100 meters from this Office. I was not sure so I asked Dea to go to the Seven Eleven in front of Campus. I decided to buy Chic Finger and Jasmine Rice. It was delicious and tasted like chicken nugget.

This Evening, Dormitory Officer invite us to have dinner together. She cooked fried eggs, chicken sausages, and some Ilsan foods. There is wasabi too but it tasted more than just spicy. Mee Peum is very humble and kind. She told us the process how she can speak English well. I felt speechless of her story. Dea got cough while we were eating so Mee Phem gave her medicine. In the end of our dinner, we took picture to keep this beautiful moment.
